Hello friends!
In case you happen to check in on our old classroom blog I wanted to stop by and say, "hello!" I miss you all SO MUCH! I have been teaching the Camp Read S'more Summer Reading Program at Rosemont Forest this summer, enjoying the beach, and setting up my new third grade classroom at King's Grant Elementary. I have gotten the chance to see some of our friends from last year at reading camp which has make my transition from LES to KGES a little easier.
As I set up my new classroom in my new building, I can't help but think about each and every one of you. I truly miss you more than you will ever know. Just remember how much I love you and you can always stop by Mrs. Keros or Mrs. Spruill's rooms and pass on a message to me.
I hope you all are enjoying your summer!
Love,
Ms. Innis

Keeping In Touch Over The Summer
Dear Parents,
I can't believe this year is quickly coming to a close. I have enjoyed getting to spend the year with your child and having the opportunity to watch them grow as learners, workers, and just amazing human beings in general. Your child may have shared with you that I will be transferring to a different elementary school next year. My heart breaks knowing I will not be able to see their smiling faces down the hall and check in on them, but I know this is going to be a wonderful adventure.
Many of the students have asked how they can keep in touch with me over the summer or even next year. Since we have used Google Forms in the past I figured this would be an easy way for them to do so. Just have your child click the link below, type whatever they would like, and press submit! It's that easy!
Thank you for a wonderful year and such a positive experience at LES! I am so thankful.

First In Math
I am SO proud of our friends for working so hard to earn more First in Math stickers. I started updating the stickers daily in a spot in the classroom. This is the first thing everyone rushes to see in the morning. I love how the friendly competition has been so motivating for many of our friends. In fact, our class has the most stickers in THE ENTIRE SCHOOL! Woohoo!
Congratulations to our First in Math Top 5 Players! Keep logging on and earning those stickers!

Habitat Project
Hello!
You child should have brought home their habitat research as well as the project sheet on May 21st. Every student was given 2 days to complete their research with Pebble Go online, library books, Tumblebooks, Bookflix, etc. If for some reason their research was not completed and they need to complete it in school they may bring their research sheet back to school.
All projects are due on June 4th! As stated on the project sheet, late submissions will not be accepted. The project should include the diorama/3D model with a paragraph.
As always, if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask!
